L -- CONTRACTOR ENGINEERING TECHNICAL SERVICES FOR THE AN/MLQ-36 MEWSS SOL M67854-98-R-3004 DUE 120698 POC Lisa Botkin (703) 784-5822, ext 236 or Dorinne Rivoal (703) 784-5822, ext 235 The Marine Corps intends to sole source to the Diesel Division, GM of Canada, through the Canadian Commercial Corporation for Contractor Engineering Services (technical and logistical) for the USMCs fleet of MEWSS Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) autohulls. The support shall include assistance, advice, training, and related activities required to support the operation and maintenance of the MEWSS and contractor parts supply for all the automotive components of the MEWSS. Sites shall include, but are not limited to Kaneohe Bay, HI, Camp Lejuene, NC, Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Owego, NY. The period of performance for this effort shall be from contract award (approximately 1 February 1998) through 30 September 1998, with three one year options. Offerors that can provide the above requirement must respond within thirty (30) calendar days from the publication of this notice to the effect that a comparable source is available, negotiations will be conducted with DDGM of Canada.
