Duties include, but are not limited to providing escort/guard services as required for federal prisoners in court and in th cellblocks and federal prisoners being transported to and from jails or courthouses. Hiring requirements include demonstrating a proficiency in firearms that meets USMS standards; and a minimum of one (1) year experience in law enforcement and/or security matters related to prisoner handling and detention. It is anticipated that award will take place on December 1, 1997 with performance beginning no more than 30 days thereafter.
