Z -- CONVERT ENTRANCE TO HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE, BUILDING 18, NAVAL SECURITY STATION, WASHINGTON, DC SOL N68925-98-Q-A020 DUE 121297 POC June Johnson, Purchasing Agent, (301)295-6768/69 The work includes but is not limited to removing existing handrails, concrete steps, concrete sidewalk, grass, bushes, entrance door & frame, and construction of a new concrete handicap accessible ramp with new handrails, installation of new automatic double swing doors (including bronze finish aluminum frame and jamb). This project will also provide new exterior lighting. The completed work shall provide for a complete and operational system, although each item required may not be specifically mentioned or described. This project is being solicited under simplified acquisition to all interested firms. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid and performace bonds are not required; however, a Payment Bond will be required after award as specified in the solicitation. Quotes are due December 12, 1997 at 2:00 P.M. at which time they will be privately recorded. Results will be made of the contract award upon receipt of a separate written request.
