89 -- PROVIDE CARBONATED BEVERAGE BASE AND DISPENSERS FOR DINING FACILITIES AT FORT LEWIS, AND YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER, WA SOL DAKF57-98-Q-0016 DUE 111797 POC Purchasing Agent Cpt Dave Brock 253-967-2151 ext 239 (Site Code DAKF57) Contractor to furnish beverage base and 100 carbonated beverage dispensers, equipment and labor required to install, maintain and remove beverage dispensers at approximately twenty-five (25) dining facilities on Fort Lewis, WA and approximately fifteen (15) dining facilities at Yakima Training Center, Yakima, WA. Contractor will furnish, within 24 hours after installation, detailed instructions for operating each system to food service personnel of each dining facility serviced. Contractor shall maintain systems throughout life of contract. Contractor shall repair defective machines within 48 hours after being notified machine is defective. Beverage dispenser shall be pressure type syrup system containing at least four (4) dispensing valves. Estimated number of dispensers for Base Period is 100. System shall be capable of dispensing beverage at temperature of 40 degrees or less. Minimum carbonation level shall be 3.1%. Dispenser shall be self-contained, mechanically refrigerated, counter-top unit with stainless steel storage cabinet. Estimated requirements of beverage base for Base Period are: Cola flavor, 8,500 GL; Lemon-Lime flavor, 3000 GL; Root Beer flavor, 2200 GL ; Orange flavor, 3200 GL; Low Calorie Cola Flavor, 2200 GL; Low Calorie Lemon-Lime flavor, 200 GL; Cherry flavor, 1500 GL. Contract period will consist of a Base Period (1 January 1998 through 31 December 1998 and three (1) one year option periods. The procurement listed here will result in a Requirements Type Contract.
