C -- OPEN ENDED (MULTI-DISCIPLINE) A/E CONTRACT DUE 122297 POC Kathryn Ogilvie, Contract Specialist, (505)256-2719 Furnish architectural and Engineering (Multi-Discipline) services required to provide for the design of various projects which may include but are not limited to architectural services, mechanical, structural and/or electrical engineering services and/or Industrial Hygiene Services needed to complete individual projects. Services may include studies, concepts, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimates and construction period services. At the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Albuquerque, NM. The evaluation criteria for a selection and contract award, in descending order of relative importance, are as follows: (1) Recent specialized experience of firm in type of work required, (2) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the time and cost limitations, (3) Professional qualifications of the staff, subcontractors and consultants to be assigned to the project, (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and Private Industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the projects. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a fifty (50) mile radius of Albuquerque, NM. Architectural Engineering firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire and Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project, not later than 11/28/97. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. SIC Code 8712 $2.5. A Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract will result from this acquisition. The estimated performance period of the resultant contract is one year with the option to extend for a period of four (4) years.
