The resultant contract will provide for the personnel, facilities, and technical support staff in support of the efforts of the Navy Continuous Acquisition and Life-Cycle Support (CALS) Resource Implementation Cooperative (RIC) site located at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. The Navy CALS RIC program provides multiple functions in support of the Department of Defense, specifically the Navy, including but not limited to program management, business process re-engineering, training (classroom and computer based), documentation support, logistics, systems design and development, and telecommunications. Labor categories required are anticipated to be Program Manager, Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Engineer, Junior Engineer, Senior Logistician, Logistician, Junior Logistician, Senior Analyst, Analyst, Junior Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, Administrative Support, and clerical. Estimated number of hours required for labor categories will be provided in the solicitation. Period of performance is one year from effective date of contract award with four one-year option periods for a total performance period of five years. Contract type shall be Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee Term Level of Effort. Actual delivery requirements are unknown and will be negotiated in each individual delivery order. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting By Negotiation. This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for 8(a) Business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19.8, Contracting With The Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program).
