International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs has a requirement
for an individual to provide Law Enforcement Advisory services at the
American Embassy, Narcotics Control Section (NAS), in Guatemala City,
Guatemala. The purpose of this position is to assist the NAS in the
design and implementation of the Law Enforcment Project in cooperation
with Government of Guatemala Treasury Police. The assignment is for
one year with the option to extend the term. The grade level range is
GS 11 through 13. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in
Criminal Science, Business, or related field; 8-10 years progressive
employment experience in general police work, at least five of which
includes investigation and intelligence analysis; working knowledge of
police investigation techniques, case management, property management
procedures, relational data base management and MS Word; Spanish
language capability at the FSI S3/R3 level. SF-171 required to apply.
