S -- COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES (CA) COST COMPARISON STUDY UNDER OMB CIRCULAR A-76 FOR MULTI-FUNCTION FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICES AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION, ATLANTA, GA SOL N62467-97-R-0965 DUE 030498 POC Audrey Orvin, Contract Specialist (803)-820-5912, Doris Ott, Contracting Officer 803-820-5913 Services include but are not limited to all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering and management for performance of administrative requirements; various automated data processing services; operation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems (HVAC) and refrigeration; maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, equipment, and miscellaneous services; operation, maintenance and repair of utility plant systems, associated equipment, and distribution and collection systems; maintenance and repair of grounds and surface areas; maintenance and repair of Military Family Housing; pest and vegetation control; operation, maintenance, and repair of transportation equipment; photographic services; airplane fueling requirements; public affairs operation; environmental requirements, and indefinite quantity work. This requirement is a Cost Comparison Study in accordance with Circular A-76 to determine whether it is costeffective to contract out these services or keep in house with Government personnel. The contract will be for a base period of twelve months with two one-year options to extend services with the total contract term not to exceed thirty-six months. The is a negotiated source selection procurement which consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. The procurement is being issued as a total small business set-aside under the SIC of 8744 with the small business size standard of $20,000,000.00. (0311)
