65 -- RADIOPAQUE STENT KITS SOL RFQ 598-15-98 DUE 120197 POC Sandi Magers, (501) 370-6634 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 598-15-98 is being issued as a Request for Quotes and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-01. This solicitation is unrestricted and SIC Code 3842 applies (the small business size standard for which is 500 employees). The requirement is to supply Fifty (50) kits for coronary balloon procedures to include a Radiopaque stent that is visible under fluoroscopy and has an over-the-wire delivery system; guide catheter; PTCA balloon, inflation device and hemostatis valve kit.
