J -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLES (ROR) FOR F-14 IRST TPS SOL N68335-98-Q-0222 DUE 121097 POC Carl Ruzicka Code 25213, (732) 323-2741 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corp. for the purpose of modifying Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-97-G-0222 to include the repair of F-14 Infra Red Search and Track (IRST) Test Program Set (TPS) hardware. The purpose of these negotiations will be to issue orders under the BOA for repair of repairables (ROR) of broken IRST assets. The contractor will bring the broken IRST assets to an ready for issue (RFI) condition. The contractor will also incorporate any modifications to the IRST assets to bring them up to the current production configuration. The contractor will then return the IRST assets to respective Fleet activities. The specific IRST components to be serviced are as follows using the National Item Identification Number (NIIN): P/N 014421604, Cable Assembly Interface Device Set; P/N 014424961, Interface Device Accessory Set; P/N LLSWE4170, Op Test Program Inst; P/N LLERDX051, Test Interface Device Fixture Assembly; P/N LLSWE4169 Op Test Program Inst; P/N LLGSE5300, Op Test Program Medium; P/N 014423626, Interface Device Cable Assembly Set; P/N 014424943, Interface Device Accessory Set; 014424962, Interface Fixture Holding Assembly; P/N 014421588, Adapter Assembly Interface Device; P/N 014421602, WRA-1 Holding Interface Device Fixture Ass'y, P/N 014421605, WRA-2 Holding Interface Device Fixture Ass'y; P/N 914421603, Adapter Assembly Interface Device; P/N 014420295, Adapter Assembly Interface Device; P/N 014424941, Test Interface Device Fixture Assembly. It is intended that the services will be for a one year base period with two one year options. Services will begin on/about 1 Feb 98. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Cite solicitation N68335-98-Q-0222.
