Jeanelle Wright, Contract Specialist, (440) 838-6091 The Department of
Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to procure services for
On-Site Valet Parking Services at 10701East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio
44106 while the Parking Garage is under construction. Parking
management shall include lots #1, #4, #5, and #6. Based on current
operations, it is estimated that contractor will address approx. 700
cars per day. Hours of operation will be from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday, excluding Government Holidays. Contractor shall
provide maximum on-site parking for VAMC patients and allow patients
to be dropped off and fpicked up at the main entrance of the medical
center. Contractor shall provide pricing from December 1, 1997 through
September 30, 1998 with one (1) year renewal option, October 1, 1998
September 30, 1999. Upon award, contractor will be required to submit
listing of all employees that will be working on this project in
advance for security screening. Contractor shall carry general
liability insurance of not less than $100,000 for each person and
$300,000 for each accident . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation
for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this
announcement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
proposals are being requested and a wirtten solicitation will not be
issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular
No. 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7299. Clauses

award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the most
responsible offeror whose offer confirming to the solicitation will be
most advantageous to the Government. Price and other factors
