OVERSEAS LOCAL GUARD SERVICE WEB SITE The Department of State is continuing its automation initiative for the overseas local guard program. The Government intends to issue oversease local guard solicitations on the Internet. Interested firms will be notified by E-mail when RFPs are released. Firms interested in being on the Email mailing list for upcoming overseas local guard contracts or requiring assistance in using the Internet should contact Stuart Toleman at stuart.c.toleman@dos.us-state.gov or by phone at 703-516-1694 or fax 703-875-6155. The Government does not plan to issue paper copies of RFPs; however, firms that insist on receiving a paper copy of the RFP will be sent a copy via regular mail, and no extensions will be provided as a result of mail delays.
