R-TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPPORT NORAD/USSPACECOM HQ NORAD/USSPACECOM announced the availability of a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for Technical Services Support and published a Sources Sought Synopsis in the September 19, 1997 Commerce Business Daily. A copy of the Sources Sought Announcement and the draft SOW are also available via the Internet through the 21 CONS Home Page. The address is http://www.spacecom.af.mil/21cons/busines1.htm. 21 CONS now plans to hold a preacquisition conference as a follow-on to the release of the draft SOW to receive comment from potential offerors and other interested parties. The Sources Sought Announcement is amended to state that the Government anticipates a multiple contract award to both large and small business concerns (partial set-aside). The preacquisition conference is a preliminary step in the acquisition process and is intended as a means to gain contractor feedback on our anticipated acquisition approach and obtain other industry recommendations. Date and location: The preacquisition conference will beginat 8:00 AM on Wednesday, 19 November 1997, in Building 890, Peterson AFB, CO.
