Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the printing and delivery requirements. The four sides of the flag must be sewn. Delivery of all 70,000 flags is due 30 days from award of the purchase order. Delivery earlier than 30 days is desireable. Prior to delivery of all 70,000 flags, 2 sample flags must be submitted to NASA for a 2 working day review for quality. This short review time is being utilized to expedite delivery of the flags to ensure flight on the STS-89 mission. Therefore, the due date for the full quantity remains at 30 days from purchase order award regardless of the number of times rework is required. If the sample flags are acceptable, production of the full quantity may begin immediately. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on October 31, 1997. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
