The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for a computer system, inculsive of hardware and software, capable of integration with the Klein 595 Side Scan Sonar system. This system shall provide side scan capabilities which allow for image enhancement, digital storage of data, individual target isolation and storage on digital media, mosaicking capability, enhancement of target image for improved identification, and real-time viewing of all data transimitted from the towfish. The system shall receive and record all data in the 100, 500, and 3.5 khz frequencies. In addition, the system shall be compatible with a wide range of popularly used side scan and multi-beam sonar and echosounding systems. The contractor shall provide all elements of this system. The contractor shall also provide training and documentation of described in the Statement of Work.
