C -- A/E SERVICES DUE 121897 POC Laralee Horowitz, Contracting Officer Furnish A/E Services for VISN 3 Chiller Plant Study. Provide all necessary A/E services to conduct an assessment of the Medical Center's existing chiller plants/refrigeration for VISN 3. Facilities to include: Bronx, NY, Manhattan, NY, St. Albans, NY, Brooklyn, NY, Northport, NY, Montrose, NY, Castle Point, NY, East Orange, NJ, & Lyons, NJ. The A/E shall survey the existing chiller plants and cooling systems to derive a long range management plan of completely phasing out ozone depleting substances (HCFC's) and replacing with an environmentally safe refrigerant gas alternative such as HFC-134A. The A/E shall survey the existing AC Plant and identify all AC systems and components requiring compliance. This is not a small business set-aside. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8712, Architectural Services (Other than Naval). Interested A/E firms located within a 100 mile geographical radius of this Medical Center are to submit Standard Forms 254 & 255 to issuing office by close of business12/18/97. (0316)
