Norton (205) 235-6629 (Site Code DAAC01) Contractor assistance in transferring the X2000 Transmission Component Test Stand from Red River Army Depot (RRAD) to Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) as required by the Base Realignment and Closure Committee (BRAC). The con tractor shall meet ANAD personnel at RRAD and assist in the disassemblyre moval,, and packing of three machines which comprise the Test Stand. Once the equipment arrives at ANAD, Contractor personnel will assist in instal ling, aligning, starting-up the machines, and make sure they are fully operational. The equipment to be moved is Flow Bench Test Station, Control Valve Test Station, and Hydrostatic Pump and Motor Test Station. This effort will require approximately five weeks. B&K Corporation, the OEM, is the only known source that has the necessary tools, equipment, and knowl edgeable personnel to perform this requirement. This service will be pur chased as sole source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize and can provide the above service are encouraged to identifythemselves with 15 days from the date of this publication, and provide supporting evidence to the contracting officer which would permit their participation in future solicitations.
