The completion date of this contract will be extended from December 31, 1997 to June 30, 1998. This requirement is necessary to continue related policy dialogue efforts among the contractor and the government of Ghana, avoid excessive duplication of costs and allow for completion of negotiations and award of the competitive successor project procurement.
