APOBS is a two-man, backpacked system which can breach footpaths through anti-personnel land mines and wire obstacles. The government intends to release a presolicitation DRAFT version of the APOBS Request for Proposal (RFP) for industry comment. New companies desiring a copy of the DRAFT solicitation should make request in writing to Commander, Attn: Mr. Peter A. Stabile Code CTQ1PS, MARCORSYSCOM, 2033 Barnett Avenue Suite 315, Quantico, VA 22134-5010. Companies who previously responded to the notice of 17 March 1997, requesting a copy of the drawing package, need not respond to this notice. These companies will automatically receive a copy of the DRAFT solicitation. No telephone requests for information will be accepted. Requests should be received within 30 days of publication.
