The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a delivery order under basic ordering agreement N00019-96-G-0133 on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pt.Mugu, CA.. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) will be contracted for up to one hundred and fifty (150) Sensor Correlation Program (SCP) avionics modifications kits and spare components for the AWG-9 Radar Antenna. NGC shall provide engineering support and technical documentation for this effort. As the designer, developer and sole manufacuturer of teh F-14 aircraft, NGC is the only known source that possesses the technical expertise, engineering data, and detailed knowledge of the F-14 configurations necessary to provide the required services needed to incorporate the kits within the time frame required to meet critical fleet aviation commitments.
