J -- PAINTING OF CITATION II, FIXED-WING AIRCRAFT SOL NAAN6000800000SMA DUE 121297 POC Sheila Anderson, (816)426-7267, ext. 240 The Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) has a requirement to paint a Citation II, fixed-wing aircraft, FAA Registration No. N52RF, Serial No. 0021, Unit No. 11. Contractor shall be responsible for the following; 1) removal of old exterior paint from the aircraft, 2) inspect for corrosion, dents, cracks, missing rivets, etc., 3) apply epoxy urethane corrosion resistant sealer/primer, and 4) apply a two-color stripe design. The Contractor shall provide all special tools, parts, facilities, equipment, and certified technical staffing needed to accomplish the tasks. Contractor shall be required to complete the task so the aircraft is ready for flight no later than February 1, 1998. The Cessna Citation N52RF does not have thrust reversers, consequently, the Government will only accept bids from vendors with operational runway lengths of 5,000 feet or greater.
