Z -- CORROSION CONTROL REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT SUPPORT SOL F40650-98-B-0002 POC Emily Walker, Contract Specialist,Phone: 931-454-7841; Fax: 931-454-7330 This procurement is for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract for corrosion control painting at miscellaneous buildings, structures, and facilities at as many as 17 separate locations at Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold AFB TN. The order of magnitude is between $250K and $500K. Work involves water blasting up to 5,000 pounds per square inch, power tool cleaning to bare metal, priming, and painting 17 different types of structures including buildings, structural steel, piping, tanks, ducting, stacks, and other previously painted surfaces in compliance with all OSHA, federal, and AEDC regulations for lead paint removal, storage, and disposal. Some work will be required on occupied facilities. Total performance period is 260 calendar days after issuance of written notice to proceed.
