SBA has determined that competition for this requirement will be limited to 8(a) firms with a place of busssiness (i.e. principal place of business, office or branch office) located within the geographic boundaries of the Baltimore District Office which have SIC Code 1795 among their approved SIC codes. (For your information, the geographic boundaries of the Baltimore DIstrict Office include Baltimore City and all of the counties of Maryland, with the exception of Montgomery and Prince George's counties). Thus, certain 8(a) firms whichare not serviced by the Baltimore District Office may be eligible to submit offers, provided that they have a place of business within the geographic boundaires of the Baltimore District Office. (8(a) firms are serviced by the SBA District Office in which their principal place of business is located.) Contractors shall at time of bid opening submit a copy of their license for the City of Baltimore to demolition. This IFB will be available on or about 12/3/97.
