tracing power control panel for 50 circuits. 2. ENVIRONMENT: The panel
will be installed indoors and experience temperature between -20 deg F
and 100 deg F. 3. SPECIFICATIONS: The panel shall be supplied with the
following features: (1) 1 each NEMA-12 enclosure (72"W x 60"H x 10"D)
with heat sinks. (2) 1 each 200A 3-pole KAL breaker. (3) 1 each Power
distributor block. (4) 2 each 54 Space panelboard, 208/120, 3 phase, 4
wire. (5) 50 each Square D QOB130EPD-2100 breakers (or approved
substitute). (6) 50 each Square D 240D110SP, 110A solid state relays
(or approved substitute), 25 on each side wall. (7) 1 lot terminals,
SSR gate power, heat trace power out. (8) 1 Power available indicating
light. (9) 1 Door mounted disconnect switch. All components must be
new. Certificates of Compliance must be furnished for all circuit
breakers. 4. CODES AND STANDARDS: The panel and all components shall be
manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the latest editions
of applicable Codes and Standards published by the following Societies:
ANSI -- American National Standards Institute. ASTM -- American Society
for Testing and Materials. IEEE -- Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers. NEMA -- National Electrical Manufacturers
Association. NFPA -- National Fire Protection Institute (NFPA 70,
"National Electric Code"). All electrical components shall be suitable
for use in the environment specified, and must be listed by
Underwriter's Laboratories (UL), Factory Mutual (FM), or another
nationally recognized testing authority except where such approvals
have not been established. 5. INSPECTION: All components will be
inspected upon receipt to ensure the parts are not suspect or
counterfeit. 6. DELIVERY: Equipment must be received no later than 10
weeks after receipt of order. 7. SUBMITTALS: Vendors who respond to the
Request for Quotations (RFQ) must meet the specifications without
exception. You may request exceptions or deviations in advance by
submitting them to the procurement office by 28-Nov-97 for DOE
consideration and approval. The RFQ will be issued on 08-Dec-97. Once
the RFQ is issued, no exceptions will be granted. NOTICE TO ALL
