Souto, Contracting Officer, 717-770-6206 The Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna PA (DDSP) located at the Defense Distribution Center in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the procurement of twenty-eight (28) each scanner kits, The Culver Group part number 5700TCG02/339401RB2 or equal. This kit consists of Welch Allyn Model ST5700 hand held scanner with 6' coiled cord to transterm5, preprogrammed firmware, rubber boot, take-up reel, custom nylon padded holster with D ring connector, precoded barboard for festoon stations and a two year mail back warranty on the scanner. DDSP also has a requirement for the procurement of forty-four (44) each scanner kits, The Culver Group part number 5700TCG02/339410PH or equal. This kit consists of Welch Allyn Model ST5700 hand held scanner with 10' coiled cord to transterm5, preprogrammed firmware, rubber boot, plastic holder, precoded barboard for pedestal stations nad a two year mail back warranty on the scanner. The Government does not possess the salient characteristics of the components within the kits. If the contractor is quoting on other than the specified Welch Allyn scanner kit, descriptive literature must accompany your quotation. Scanner kits should be quoted FOB destination to Defense Distribution Center, Base Supply Receiving, Building 203, Door 12, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Contractor should provide a unit price quotation for each scanner kit. This oral request for quotation and the resultant award are being processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13. One award will made as a result of this solicitation. Award will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quotation. A written requst for quotation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for the above scanner kits, which if received by 3:00PM ET on December 16, 1997, shall be considered by this agency.
