Bentley, Contracting Officer, SMDC-CM-CN/(205)955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting agency responsible for this procurement action. This action will be a sole-source modification issued to the existing Support Services for Advanced Research Projects Agency/Defense Sciences Office (ARPA/DSO) Contract DASG60-96-C-0021 with Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), Arlington, Virginia. The basic SPC contract is a cost-plus-fixed- fee type, and a cost-plus-fixed-fee modification will be negotiated for this action. The proposed follow-on acquisition is to increase the level of effort labor hours for technical assistance and support services due to a significant increase in support required as a result of the restructuring of the ARPA/DSO Office, and initiation of important key programs in that office.
