Loflin, 509-325-7916 Design Services-Furnish A-E design services to prepare plans and specifications for project 668-303 entitled "RENOVATE FOR OUTPATIENT PSYCHIARTRY", at the V.A. Medical Center, Spokane, Washington 99205. SIC Code 8712 applies. Design work includes working drawings and specifications for construction of an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and Drug Dependence Treatment Clinic on the 7th floor (approx 9,000 gsf) of Bldg 1 The scope of the design for the construction shall include but is not limited to the following items: 1. phasing and coordination of construction as required. 2.Complete interior remodeling/upgrading of the center and south end of the 7th floor ward areas and associated reas to include mechanical and electrical systems as required. The V.A. will contract abatement and associated monitoring of asbestos. Selection will be based on the following criteria: 1. Recent specialized experience of the firm to accomplish the work required. 2. Proffessional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the time and cost limitations. 3. Recent experience of the firm in the design, professional qualification of the staff, subcontractors, consultants to be assigned to the project. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Firms located within a 400 mile radius of Spokane Washington are encouraged to submit appropriate SF-254's and SF255's, no later than 12/15/97. This is not a request for proposal. (0318)
