Modification, Maintenance and Repair -- Availability involves civilianization of the habitability spaces, modification enabling reduced MSC crews for operation, maintenance and repair items. Responsible offeror must have a NAVSEA Master Ship Repair Agreement prior to award of contract. Bidding area is CONUS wide at Contractor's Facility. The performance period will be 420 days which consists of a 90 day design period followed by a 330 day availability. The vessel is located at Oakland, CA and is readily available for shipcheck until late January 1998, the location after January 1998 has yet to be determined. Offerors should note that the resultant contract will require submission of detailed Cost/Schedule Status Reports.
