FISCNORVADETWASH intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for Engineering Support Services. The proposed procurement is to acquire design, test and evaluation, and production services for SEMCOR proprietary products. SEMCOR is the only source that can provide the required fiber optic bullshead connectors and TEMPEST-approved red switches. The Clause at FAR 52.217-9 "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract" will be included in the resulting contract. The performance period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 has been prepared. See Note 22. (0321)
