The work includes placing a 1-1/2" asphaltic concrete pav ement overlay on existing asphaltic concret4e pavement, to include application of tack coat. Work also includes removal of 198 concrete wheel stops and reinstallation of 166 existing concrete wheel stops upon completion olf the overlay. Stripping of vegetation and top soil, placement and compaction of base material shaping and compacting prikor to placement of a prime coat, and 1-1/2" asphaltic concrete pavement. Existing gravel surface turn-outs, and areas identified as repair areas on the drawings, require scarifying, shaping and compacting existing surface, which include placement of prime coat, and 1-1/2" asphaltic concrete pavement. Estimated magnitute of work is between $25,000 and $100,000. Issue date for solicitation is on or about 12/15/98.
