Contract Clerk (208) 765-7497 A&E "As Needed" Kootenai, Bonner,
Boundary, Latah, Benewah, and Shoshone Counties, Idaho. Indefinite
quantity/indefinite delivery multiple contract for 3 years. To include
all associated disciplines, to provide civil engineering consultation,
site surveys, P-line surveys, road and bridge designs, material and
construction specifications, cost estimates, construction staking and
contractor quality control inspection, bridge inspections, and sampling
and testing of materials. Firms must submit a completed SF-254 and
SF-255, for this project by January 8, 1998, Close of Business to the
IPNF, ATTN: Nancy H. Traner, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
83815-8363. Firms responding to this announcement before the closing
date will be considered for selection, subject to any limitations
indicated with respect to size and geographic location of firm,
specialized technical expertise or other requirements listed. Following
an initial evaluation of the qualification and performance data
submitted, three or more firms considered to be the most highly
qualified to provide the type of services required, will be chosen for
negotiation. Selection of firms for negotiation shall be through an
order of preference based on demonstrated competence and qualifications
necessary for the satisfactory performance of the type of professional
services required, that include: (1) Professional qualifications
necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2)
specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work
required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4)
Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private
industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with
performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of
the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that
application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified
firms, given the nature and size of the project; (6) Additional points
may be assigned or credit given to potential contractors that are or
will subcontract with certified 8(a) or other small disadvantaged
