AND ALTERATION PROJECTS IN POSTAL FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF MONTANA

For Indefinite Quantity Architectural/Engineering Services for design
and preparation of contract documents with options for contract
administration and inspection services, with guaranteed minimum amount
of $5,000 within a five (5) year period. Services shall be provided
for Postal facilities located in the State of Montana. The term of the
contract shall be for two (2) years, with three (3) one-year renewal
options. Individual work orders will be issued and each work order will
be negotiated as an individual project. Work orders for any one project
cannot exceed $100,000, and the total contract cannot exceed $500,000
for each 12-month contract period. The total contract amount shall not
exceed $2,500,000 for the five year period. Firms that have the
qualifications to perform the services described above are invited to
submit (2 copies of each) a completed SF255, Architect/Engineer and
Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Projects, a completed
SF254, Architect/Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire, and a
completed SF254 for each of its proposed consultants to the office
shown above. The selection will be conducted by using the submitted
SF255 and the SF254's. Interested firms with more than one office must
indicate on their SF255, the staffing composition of the office in
which the work will be performed. Firms responding to this
advertisement will be evaluated in accordance with the following
criteria: 1) Geographic preference: a) located within the State of
Montana, b) located outside the State of Montana; 2) firms experienced
in small repair and alteration projects, including, but not limited to
: architectural barriers,HVAC, roof repair/replacement, asphaltic and
portland concrete repairs/replacements; 3) firm staff to have a minimum
of two architects registered in the State of Montana; and 4) firms who
have experience adminstering unit price schedules/indefinite quantity
construction contracts. Architectural and Engineering firms will be
considered as local only if their sole office is in the local
gerographical area or they have a local branch office and all the
architectural design, coordination, and management of the project will
be performed in that office. There is no restriction on the
geographical location of consultants. The contract contains a
requirement for firms to provide evidence of current insurance of
$200,000 of errors and omissions per claim. Participation of
Minority-Owned Businesses is encouraged in US Postal Service
Architecture/Engineer selections. It is prohibited to pay any fee,
commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to any person or firm
contingent upon or resulting from award of a contract for this project.
No other general notification for this project will be made. Submission
of SF254 and SF255 by USPS mail (Express Mail, Priority Mail, or First
Class) is encouraged. This solicitation may result in multiple awards.
Submissions will not be retained or returned. This is not a request for
