Mandell, 425-304-5808 Description of work: Drydock caisson, replace #2
equalizing valve, repair weather deck lighting system, remove andd
replace rubber seal, blast and paint exterior hull, blast and paint
trim tanks 1 & 2, main ballast tank, pumps, valves and operating reach
rods, remove asphalt deck, install nonskid, ultrasonic test of hull
plating. Caisson is 147'4" long from stem to stem; 22' at the widest
point, 18' wide at the top deck and 54' high. All Puget Sound Area
sources who currently hol or are qualified for and willing to enter
into a Master Ship Agreement for Repair and Alteration of vessels (DFAR
217.71) prior to award, may submit a bid which shall be considered by
this agency. Firms which do not, possess an Agreement for Boat
Repair/master Ship Repair Agreement are an assessment of their MSR
application to execute the ABR/MSRA without impacting the vessel's
availability dates. Place of performance is Contractors Facility. Pick
up and delivery is contractors responsiblity. Contract dates 2/2/98
