Work for ADAL Security Police Building consists of the addition of 1670 square feet of steel framed brick-veneer building additions with all the associated mechanical and electrical supporting utilities. This part of the project is subject to statutory limitations of $500,000. Work for Repair Security Police Building consists of the renovation of the existing fluorescent lighting system, miscellaneous interior painting and the replacement of the existing roof. Project will be bid as two separate line items and awarded as one complete project. Estimated construction magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000. Performance time will be 150 calendar days after receipt of Second Notice to Proceed. Actual construction will begin on or about 1 Apr 98. IFB will be issued on or about 15 Dec 97. This procurement is being solicited as unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The standard industrial code (SIC) of this project is 1542. The related small business standard applicable to this construction project is $17 million average annual receipts from the preceeding three years.
