This will be a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for one year, and will have four, one year options, (total of five years if all options are exercised). Total Estimated price for all years is more than $10,000,000. The estimated start date is 01 Oct 1998. Funded Task Orders will be issued against the basic contract and will identify the exact tasks to be preformed. In general, the work consists of furnishing a broad range of repair, demolition, alteration, and new construction at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The Contract will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks as identified in the Unit Price Book. Task orders will include tasks for a variety of trades, including, but not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, road repair, roofing, excavating, interior demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. Interested contractors must indicate whether they qualify as a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or a small disadvantaged 8(a) business under SIC Code 1542, with a size standard of $17,000,000. Replies to this sources sought synopsis must be received within 15 calendar days of publication. Each response to this sources sought synopsis must contain your company name and address, a point of contact, a current telephone and FAX number, your DUNN's number, your Cage Code, and a statement regarding your business size in relation to the SIC Code and size standard.
