The U.S. Department of Commerce, NCAA is interested in obtaining
various types of Environmental Program support on a nationwide basis
for a base period of twelve (12)-months with four (4) twelve (12)-month
option periods. These services will support activities of the Central
Administrative Support Center (CASC), located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Services required may include but are not limited to the following:
environmental audits; hazardous waste management plans, pollution
abatement plans; wetland remediation studies; underground storage tank
regulation compliance; spill prevention control and containment plans;
spill contingency plans; site remediation investigations and design;
feasibility studies; environmental impact statements; asbestos
inspection and abatement; air, soil and surface water sampling;
chemical analysis; property transfer site assessments; biological field
surveys; cost estimating; specifications preparation; drafting and
drawing preparation; computer-aided drafting and design expert witness
services; regulatory investigation; environmental data collections and
management; risk assessments; project management; geographic
information system ability program planning; assessment of natural
resource values and quality; damage assessment and restoration
evaluations; peer review; participation in public meetings;
environmental training; conduction project development workshops. These
activities are expected to require a variety of disciplines including
but not limited to Biological Professions -- biologists, biochemists;
industrial hygienist; toxicologist; ecologist; Physical Sciences --
chemist; environment chemistry and scientist; Engineering Professions
-- environmental engineer, chemical engineer, civil engineer,
geotechnical engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, safety
engineer; Geological Professions -- geologist,
geochemistry/geochemists, hydro geology/geohydrologist, geophysics;
Misc. Professions -- hazardous waste specialist hydrologist;
meteorologist;statistician; computer scientist;
economist/socioeconomist; cost estimater/cost analyst; technical
writers; land surveyors; computer-aided drafting and design operator;
public relations specialist quality assurance/quality control officer;
environmental attorney. Individual task orders will be placed against
the contract. Cumulative value for each twelve (12) month period will
not exceed 1.9 million dollars and no task may exceed $200,000.00.
