International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of Resource
Management, Aviation Division, has a requirement for an individual to
provide Aviation Advisory Services at the American Embassy, Narcotics
Affairs Section (NAS), in Bogota, Colombia. The purpose of this
position is to assist the Aviation Division in overseeing aviation
support service contract operations and provide expert aviation and
eradication technical program guidance, and program direction to the
Contractor regarding operation and logistical mission performance. The
assignment is for one year with the option to extend the term. PSCs
are treated on par with other USG employees. Minimum qualifications
include: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (i.e., Associates Degree with
five years relevant experience or ten years related experience in
military, law enforcement; three years relevant overseas aviation
experience, especially in the area of program management pertaining to
field service, helicopter, and crop/utility type aircraft; direct
experience involving the tactical employment of aircraft for
counternarcotics purposes, to include aerial eradication of illicit
drug crops in a hostile environment; Spanish capability at the FSI
