The GSA National Furniture Center will issue an open season for Multiple Award Schedule 71-II-H for Packaged Furniture on or about December 5, 1997, closing approximately one year later. The contract period will be date of award through January 31, 2001, with an option to extend through January 31, 2006. The open season solicitation package will include the DOD Packaged Rooms, as well as the addition of Packaged Offices. In order to be eligible for award, offerors must offer an entire package of items as defined in the solicitation. In the October 5, 1997, edition of the CBD, the packaged office portion of this procurement was announced under a different solicitation number (3FNO-97-M110-N). However, the two types of packaged furniture will be combined under one solicitation and one schedule (71-II-H). Parties which requested a copy of the solicitation for packaged offices already do NOT need to submit another request. A letter detailing the expansion of the packaged furniture program is available.
