L -- PROGAMMATIC AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT SOL av7nat-s8av-m500 POC Contract Specialist Linda Lysiak (309) 782-8591 (Site Code DAAA09) Headquarters, Industrial Operations Command intends to issue a sole source modification to Westar Corporation to increase the ceiling by $1.0 million under contract DAAA08-94-D-0013 for additional programmatic and technical support for the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Huntsville, AL. This requirement includes requirements analysis, systems engineering, test and evaluation support, logistics support, program management support and development of engineering documentation, specifications, standards and drawings for aviation components, and systems for the development and manufacture sets, kits, and outfits for fielding to Army aviation units. Vendors believing they can supply the above services to all items at a competitive cost, shall submit a written response within 15 days of the publication date of this notice that clearly shows its ability to meet the Government's needs. Written responses must include pricing and technical information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. If no affirmative responses are received clearly demonstrating the vendor's ability to meet the Government's needs within 15 days after publication of this notice, a sole source modification shall be issued to Westar Corporation.
