Presolicitation Notice for the re-competition of the Fort Carson Directorate of Public Works Base Operations and Maintenance requirements. This effort is to provide equipment, labor, management, parts, services and supplies to operate, maintain, and repair real property at Fort Carson CO. This effort also includes a requirement to provide a minimal amount of project work (e.g. minor construction, alteration, repair or renovation of real property facilities, personal property, and installed property). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business (SB) concerns. Offers from concerns other than SB's will not be considered. The solicitation issuance date is to be determined. The existing contract for the services currently being performed expires 30 September 1998. For this procurement, the "Best Value" Contractor will be selected using Formal Source Selection Procedures IAW Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR) Part 15. Acquisition streamlining methods will be followed using oral presentation techniques and page limitation procedures. Specific instructions will be provided in the formal solicitation.
