USAID Zambia, through the Regional Contracting Officer in Gaborone, Botswana, is soliciting offers from responsible entities to improve policies, planning, coordination and support systems for the delivery of population, health and nutrition interventions by Zambian institutions, particularly for Zambians in high risk population segments, in child survival/nutrition, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS prevention and care/orphans. The awardee of this contract will be required to closely coordinate with other program elements being supported by USAID/Zambia. This includes coordination with the cooperative agreement(s) that are being issued under a separate RFA (No. RFA- 690-98-002). USAID plans to award a four year, performance- based, cost-plus-award-fee type contract for these technical services. The RFP will be issued after December 5, 1997.
