Saint Louis, Contracting Officer, 304/636-1800, extension 265 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the repair of Buffalo Run Road 1605 including clearing and grubbing, excavation, furnishing and installation of 42 inch and 54 inch aluminum culvert pipe, purchase and installation of a prefabricated bridge, concrete, hand and machine placed riprap, placement of an aggregate base and seeding and mulching. Work also involves the construction and removal of a temporary roadway. The project is located on the Greenbrier Ranger District in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, 8.3 miles south of Bartow, WV via State 28/92 and State Secondary 4. The contract time will be 197 calendar days from Notice to Proceed which includes the ordering time for the prefabricated bridge. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project will be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Project. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration. (0324)
