Randolph, 703/602-7517 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) anticipates release of the developmental Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH) oceanographic research vessel solicitation in early December 1997. Based on the volume of industry responses, the Government will distribute the solicitation via internet on the NAVSEA Contracts Directorate Homepage at http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil. This will be the primary method of solicitation distribution; however, a courtesy hardcopy will be available to the public in the NAVSEA Industry Liaison Office, 5th Floor, Room 5E40. In an effort to foster Industry Teaming, a bidders list of all respondents to date will be added to the Homepage. Updates to this list will be made periodically at industry's request.
