The Federal Computer Acquisition Center (FEDCAC) on behalf of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is soliciting sources to acquire Information Sharing Initiative (ISI). ISI will encompass computer systems, software applications and data bases, telecommunications networks that support all of the FBI's investigative and national security functions as well as its administrative responsibilities. It will also include training, and multilevel security. The primary goal of ISI is to develop and implement comprehensive, global information systems needed to support and advance the FBI's major criminal investigative and counterintelligence initiatives for FY 1999 and beyond. These initiatives rely heavily on sharing, to include shared access and shared processing, of investigative information among law enforcement and criminal justice agencies and of national security information within the intelligence community. The Government is considering a multiple award, fixed price (ID/IQ) contract. In order to beincluded on the Source Mailing List (SML), qualified firms are required to complete SML information found on the FEDCAC Home Page at www.gsa.gov/fedcac. Sources responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged or woman-owned business. For this synopsis a business concern is considered small if its average annual receipts for its preceding three (3) fiscal years do not exceed $18 Million dollars. The Standard Industry Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 7379. A pre-proposal conference will be held for ISI on Tuesday, December 16, 1997, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at AMC Skyline/6 Theatre, 5203 Leesburg Pike, Floor G2, Falls Church, VA (Bailey's Crossroads). The pre-proposal conference will address the Information Sharing Initiative (ISI). Seating capacity is limited and attendance will be limited to two (2) persons per organization.
