The purpose of this modification is to alert bidders of additional technical information for Topic # S009, Satellite Antenna Research presently on CECOM's "Business Opportunities Page" on the World Wide Web at location http://cecom6.monmouth.army.mil/. This additional technical information is in a White Paper entitled, "SHF Antenna Positioner/Tracker for SATCOM On-the-Move" containing system objectives and performance requirements. A prospective bidders meeting will be held December 8, 1997 at the Myer Center, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Bidders should call to confirm room location and time of meeting. Interested parties are invited to submit questions prior to the meeting or on December 1, 1997. These written questions will be answered anonymously to all at the bidder's conference and also be posted subsequently on the WEB page. Technical and cost proposals (5 copies, not to exceed 50 pages, including attachments, appendices, and references) addressing the SHF positioner/tracker requirements shall be due by 3:00PM EDT on January 5, 1998 to US Army Communications-Electronics Command, ATTN: AMSEL-ACCA-D-AY (DEL), Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5008 to receive consideration for a projected third quarter FY98 award.
