AMCOM is proposing to acquire Boeing Sikorsky support services to assist in the installation and integration of the upgraded 5 channel ESIG 3000 Image Generator, the new JVC Model 340SC Projection System and the Proview 50 Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) into the Comanche Player Station (CPS) located at the Aviation Test Bed at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The installation and integration is scheduled across a 12 day period at Fort Rucker, Alabama. AMCOM anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order to Boeing Sikorsky Comanche Team. Justifications and Approval is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1). The proposed contract action is for services that cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority states only one responsible source and no other services will statisfy agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitation.
