NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Offers (RFO) to provide janitorial, grounds maintenance, refuse collection, and pest control services at NASA, Ames Research Center, Moffett Federal Airfield, and Onizuka Air Station Annexes at Moffett Field, CA. This procurement is being conducted under the Contract Consolidation Initiative. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. The period of performance will be for a one-year base period plus four (4) one-year option years. This procurement is an 8(a) competitive set-aside under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. Eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional state. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 7349 and $12M, respectively. The offeror shall state in its offer its size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The expected issue date for solicitation RFO2-36308 (MXD) is within 15 days of the posting of this notice. The expected proposal due date is 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and several of the documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet. These documents will be in RTF, .doc or .xls format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
