Provide all supervision, material, and labor necessary to perform dockside repairs to NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN to be performed at the contractor's facility. Performance period to commence on approximately 25 February 1998 and complete on or before 16 April 1998. The requirement consists of approximately 30 basic items and 15 optional items. Some of the basic items include relocation of existing deck equipment, anchor handling system modifications, ventilation enclosure modifications, installation of larger bridge windows, installation of a daytank overflow, removing the A-frame catwalk, noise reduction in the berthing area, installation of evaporators, and installation of a bow tower with foundation. Some of the optional items include, relocation of the shore power cable reels, installation of mooring line storage reels, sewage system modifications, grey water system modifications, galley modifications, installation of a fuel oil purifier, and installation of shelving throughout the ship. The vessel will be available for inspection on 2 January 1998 in Norfolk, VA.
