Levee work includes but is not limited to 1,640 cubic yards of fill, 380 cubic yards of stone protection materials (riprap and bedding), 475 linear feet of inspection trench, 2,060 cubic yards of excavation, 120 cubic yards of surface and base course aggregates for the levee top, and the necessary topsoil and seed. Pump station work includes approximately 1,600 cubic yards of reinforced cast- in-place concrete, burnished block exterior walls, and metal standing seam roof supported by steel joists. Mechanical equipment includes 635,000 gpm pumps and controls, sump pump, sluice gates with lifts and operators, flap valves, ductile iron discharge pipe, and heating and ventilating equipment.
