A-E Selection Criteria shall include, in order of importance: (1) Previous experience in the design and development of plans, specifications and cost estimates of all trades for the design of handicapped accessibility modifications to existing structures; (2) specialized experience and use of qualified personnel in the design of handicapped accessibility ramps, low pressure doors and restroom facilities in accordance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA); (3) organization and management including training, education and professional background; (4) past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) directly applicable disciplines including experience of key personnel; (6) familiarity with the local area; (7) location in the general geographic area of the project, provided that the application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of firms given the nature and size of this project; (8) capability to accomplish the design within a 2 month period. This action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable standard industrialization classification code is 8712 and the applicable size standard is $2.5 million. Interested qualified sources which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Questionnaire and a Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project (for the prime and each consultant), postmarked or delivered within 30 days from the date of this announcement.
